Return of Security Deposits
As part of the recommendations in the Office of the Auditor General of Ontario's value-for-money audit released in December 2023, TICO has been reviewing all registrant security deposits that have been held for more than two years.
As part of this process, there are former registrants who TICO has been unable to locate or make contact with to initiate the security return process.

The deadline to submit a claim form is July 2, 2027.
After July 2, 2027, if a former registrant has not initiated the security return process, the funds will be applied to TICO's consumer protection initiatives.
