UPDATED: November 1, 2021
As Ontario opens up, TICO will also begin its return to a new normal. Starting on November 1, 2021 staff will begin a gradual return to the office.
Like many other workplaces, we will be adopting a hybrid work model. Our focus will continue to be a safe work environment for employees and on providing a high-level of customer service to both Ontario’s consumers and registrants.
TICO's reception will be open to visitors on Mondays and Wednesdays. For any other days, we will continue to provide remote support. We appreciate your patience and support during this transition.

Following the Province of Ontario’s declaration of a state of emergency, TICO moved its operations to a remote, work-from-home environment on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 and will now continue for an indefinite period of time until further notice. TICO will continue to monitor the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and will provide future updates when we transition our operations back to TICO's offices.
Our first priority and focus is our employees’ health and safety. Following the information released by the Ontario government, we enacted a work-from-home policy to reduce the impact of the virus on our team, their families and to those who visit our office. While we work remotely, we will continue to strive to provide the customer service and support that both registrants and consumers expect.
During this time, most registrant interactions and meetings with TICO will be deferred until further notice, however our team will continue to be available via email, phone and other collaborative online tools.
TICO’s employees have the necessary resources and tools to continue our regulatory operations remotely, including answering phone calls and emails. There may be challenges along the way and we appreciate your patience as we navigate this unprecedented and rapidly changing environment together.
