October 27, 2021 - Charges withdrawn: Black Tie Travel Ltd. & Kristin Evensen

Mississauga, ONT. – The charges against Black Tie Travel Ltd. and Kristin Evensen have been withdrawn. The withdrawn charges include one count each of operating without TICO registration and failing to take reasonable care to prevent the Corporation from committing an offence.

Black Tie Travel Ltd. has relocated its operations to Calgary, Alberta. Both Black Tie Travel Ltd. and Kristin Evensen have agreed to not carry out business as travel agents in Ontario.

Formed in 1997, TICO is a not-for-profit corporation wholly financed by Ontario-registered travel agents and wholesalers.
