Effective May 11, 2021, Michael will assume the role of Board Chair from Jean Hébert whose term expired following his successful tenure as Board Chair over the past five-plus years.

Mr. Levinson’s diverse background includes over 35 years of experience largely in strategic roles including hotel development & operations, real estate, property management, and similar years of experience in software development. Michael was President of the Ottawa Gatineau Hotel & Motel Association, and Vice President of the Ontario Hotel & Motel Association, as well as being a board member of the Human Resources Executives of the Canadian Tourism Research Institute (CTRI), a division of the Conference Board of Canada.
