May 7'19 - Convicted: Derrell Caprietta

Mississauga, ONT. – After being charged by the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO), Mr. Derrell Caprietta was convicted on one count of operating as a Travel Agent without registration contrary to S 4(1)(a) and S 31(1)(c) of the Travel Industry Act, 2002.

Mr. Caprietta was ordered to pay a total fine of $3,750 including surcharges, sentenced to a one-year probation order and ordered to pay $3,025 restitution to a consumer.
