Advisory: Reminder to TICO Registrants to vote for position on TICO Board of Directors

The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) recently sent out election ballots for one two-year retail, wholesale, or marketing group position on the Board of Directors.  The two eligible candidates on the ballot are:

• Vibhor Chhabra, Grand Travel Planners Ltd., North York                        

• Robert Townshend, Total Advantage Travel & Tours Inc., Toronto      

Biographical descriptions of the candidates were provided with the election ballots, which were sent out on May 28, 2021 to the Business Contact on the registration record. 

All ballots must be received at the offices of BDO Canada LLP by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on June 18, 2021.

The results of the election will be announced at TICO’s Virtual Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.
