The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) regulates Ontario’s more than 1,900 travel agencies, booking websites and tour operators.

TICO administers the Travel Industry Act, 2002 on behalf of the Ontario government.

By booking with a TICO-registered business, you have access to added consumer protection. This includes disclosure of important information about your travel plans, a consumer complaints process and potential coverage under the Ontario Travel Industry Compensation Fund.
